Field Trips (Weekdays Only)

Cost is $10 per person= This includes all students, teachers/ staff and 2 parents per class- plus tax

(minimum of 15 guests to book reservation)

$50.00 nonrefundable deposit required at time of booking (not applicable for public schools)

Final headcount and payment due 7 days prior to field trip date

After the due date, cost will be $15 per child and $25 per adult.

Package Includes:

Zoo admission (2 hour time slot/ groups over 100 are allowed 3 hours)

Tram Ride w/food bucket, Addie Lou's Barnyard (petting zoo), Picnic area for sack lunches

When making a field trip inquiries please include:

-An approximate total number of students

-Number of Classrooms (each class is allowed 2 prepaid chaperones)

-Number of staff attending

-A good contact phone number (in case of bad weather)

-The name of the school or organization

-Possible date(s)

-Best arrival time: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30 or 12:00

-Will you be inviting parents to pay at the gate?(approximate number per class will be needed 7 days prior to your visit)

New for 2025-26 school year:

Each classroom is allowed 2 pre-paid parent chaperones.

All additional guests will purchase tickets at full price when they arrive.

Dates available are based on your group size:

15-100 people are scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays. 

Over 100 people can schedule Wednesdays and select Tuesdays. (minimum balance due=$1000)

If the zoo is closed because of weather, your field trip group will be given an alternate date or $10 rain vouchers will be provided.

Field trips will not be scheduled during Spring Break or Christmas Holidays.

Weekends: Large groups are welcome to visit on the weekends.

(Saturday and Sunday groups do not need a reservation. Tickets will be full price and purchased when you arrive.)

Goodie Boxes are available for advanced purchase at $5.00 each. ($6 plus tax if purchased on the day of your visit.)
